i laughed myself into confusion and then i got scared

tomorrow we leave california for good, and start back towards the middle of the country.
chris and i are somewhat relieved, as the weed here is plentiful but WAY TOO STRONG for our fragile new england minds.

two video examples of how dumb we really got:

we played out an entire medieval scene this night.

i passed out next to my husbands legs

i spent the day alone with garage band in an attempt to write an R&B song. i think i should have stopped after the eight hour point, because the results are ridiculous, SCARY, and i still sound like a white girl.

i stole some lyrics from a Satie interview
gave a shout out to early 90's monica,
michael jackson,
and from chris ryan i borrowed "are you karaoke?"

david the pineapple and dustin the italian are going to be here in a few hours. i am fucked.

YES

my song
"two weeks till the midwest" is in what looks like the most emo film of all time!!

the dutch production company contacted me almost a year ago and explained the premise to me as this:
"In a world in which a human life lasts just one day and where every action is a one-off, a boy and a girl fall so in love that they cannot bear this existence where everything happens only once. In the belief that they can prolong their love they flee to hell."

"We think that the music from Liz Isenberg fits perfectly with our film."

the trailer just came out.

i'm pretty pysched about the weird knife scene.

all with a duct tape backwindow.

i drove into portland from santa cruz last night i drove straight through our 5,000th mile (we will probably drive another 5,000 miles home)

since it was one of our first true days off we slept and got drunk, finally. we drank and drunk dialed the east coast at an inappropriate time.

we are not broke but the sun is coming out

i am sleepy
and everything was fine

i was wearing lucky underwear

we almost died tonight and it was scary. glenna was sleeping and woke up to me saying oh god oh god
our car swerved, turned 180 degrees right onto oncoming traffic. i had to get out and try and breathe a little so i did and then we got back on the road
then someone crashed right into us. glenna was screaming.

randy came and drove us to the venue he is our little angel he put cardboard and tape to cover the shattered back window.
my guitar is a little fucked up.

when we got to the venue all of our equipment was soaked
i spent the first ten minutes in the bathroom stall, shaking uncontrollably

poor wanderin one

when it gets late i'm weird always consistently weird in the same way
the repetition is embarrassing

late nights are always late nights but they are becoming more and more of a big pain
albeit easier to avoid
sleeping eight hours a night is a new, beautiful, fucking amazing thing!
sometimes i still have insomnia but its rarer and sort of comforting to know its not just me and the destruction etc

tonight brendan, james, and i spent too many hours in the asbestos filled basement of battey street but it was worth every minute for now there are amazing organ solos on my new cd.

james is asleep on my floor and its nice not even a little sad to hear familiar sounds its nice even the snores

ok well maybe i've the tiniest sigh but i'm a big sigher and its late
liz go sigh yourself to sleep ok

why is deer tick so big? it's amazing and i feel like a proud mother.
it's also good for my self esteem but not good for late night googling of my name.
